Democracy without opposition? An analysis of the 2019 Philippines midterm elections

The ruling parties gained a total victory in the Philippine elections on 13th of May. Not a single senator from the opposition was elected and also in local elections the opposition candidates didn’t fare well. He is the regional coordinator SASK (the Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland) for South-East Asia.
